True Blood Season 2 Finale Sucked!

There. I said it. I was so terribly disappointed in the True Blood Season 2 Finale. I’ll post my official recap/review tomorrow but I had to let off some steam!

Watching True Blood Season 2 Episode 12

Not the best quality preview, so Im hoping to find a better one to replace this soon- but if you’re like me, then you just cant get enough True Blood and the quality isnt very important!

Episode 10 Review

Opening scene: Eric crying tears of blood. Hot! Steamy passionate kissing ensues, Eric draws back with fangs out and goes in for the bite…Dammit! Its a dream!

Entering the town of Bon Temps, things are not the way Sookie and Jason left them. The town is in disorder and has obviously gone quite mad. A bit grossed out by the thought of a meat-covered gazebo thing…uh, yuck. More reasons for me to want Mary Ann dead!

Which brings me to my next question…why the heck isn’t Andy Belfleur caught up in Mary Ann’s web? How is the entire town affected but he somehow escapes? I can see why Sam isn’t, being a shape shifter and all…and without giving too much away, I can see why a few others arent affected. But Andy? Hes nothing special (just a drunk!)

Hoyt’s mom was pretty darn hilarious when she hit on Jason. And the look on Jason’s face, “There’s a new waitress at Merlot’s?” Haha! Hes just so cute! Hoyt’s mom should have learned to keep her mouth shut though. Can’t blame Jessica for biting her, not really.

The whole town has literally gone crazy and they’re all after Sam. They trapped him and Andyin the walk-in fridge. But don’t worry, Andy has a bottle of booze so everything is fine! Jason came to help, armed with a chainsaw and a nail gun and looking like Rambo! Pretty smart plan they came up with to get Sam out of the clutches of the crazy crowd. Plus, we got to see some Sam Merlot butt! Score!

Tara is still annoying. Die now please. Did giggle a bit when she called Sookie a cunt. Then again, I just love that word!

It appears Sookie has a new power. How intresting! When she and Bill were attacked by Mary Ann, just touching Mary Ann caused Sookie to exhibit….something….we arent sure what yet. Looks like some sort of electrical charge. It was enough to stall Mary Ann for a moment so Bill and Sookie could escape.

Bill went to visit The Queen of Lousiana. The episode ended with him saying hello to a foot dripping with blood.

What happens next? Will Queen Sophie find a way to defeat Mary Ann? Can Sookie protect her friends long enough for help to arrive? Will Jessica drain Hoyt’s mom? Stay tuned!

Since we got robbed with last nights episode (cut 15 minutes short!) Im hoping if I watch this preview for next weeks show it will make up for it. I only need to watch it 72 times! Enjoy!

True Blood Season 2 Episode 6

Hard Hearted Hannah

Bill and Sookie are getting it on, as usual. Vampire hotel so they can spend all day together. How sweet. They’re interrupted by Isabela who offers her love slave Hugo to infiltrate FOTS with Sookie.

Eric is busy having a drink at the bar when Lorena arrives. Flashback to the flapper era when Bill and Lorena were a formidable duo of seduction.They seduced a couple, bled em, and got it on in their blood. Hot? Not so much. Its good back history on the relationship between Bill and Lorena but the bloody sex was a bit much.

Boring scene of Sam and Daphne lying naked blah blah blah’ing on a pool table.

Cut to some boring scene of Tara trying to find a pump for her shower because Mary Ann is grumpy that she can’t shower. I wish Tara would throw her crazy-ass out on the street!  Also, I was thinking- what the hell kind of name is Eggs. Yah, I know why they call him that but how lame! So after they walk in the woods, they stumble on an orgy Mary Ann is throwing. They seem surprised. I wasn’t shocked one bit!

Terry has a surprise break through when he helps defend and console Lafayette after Andy’s verbal attack. Pam visits the L man and informs him he’ll be selling “V” for Eric from now on.

Jason, the idiot savant, can’t even build a platform without hurting himself. He has a sudden attack of conscience when he is discussing sins (did you know adultery is right up there with bestiality and incest!) Don’t worry. He gets over it in time to bang her in the chapel! Creepy Newlin and Sara tricked Sookie and Hugo and dragged them off to the tombs under the church.

Turns out Daphne is in cahoots with Mary Ann and she tricks Sam into attending the orgy where he is captured. Mary Ann dons some whacked out deer head ensemble and starts her vibrating thing. Flash to a knife! Sam screams. End episode. Not a bad cliffhanger, eh?

True Blood Season 2 Episode 6 airs on Sunday July 26th at 9pm on HBO- luckily its back to its’ usual schedule. No more taking a week off- it makes me sad!
