Playing a bisexual or bi-curious role is not new for Miss Wood. She has had several roles where she’s kissed other females- like we’d complain about that? Not to mention she’s dating the rather androgynous (but still hot) Marilyn Manson.

Thats right, the two main stars of HBO’s True Blood are set to be married (date unknown) Moyer has two children form a previous marriage. Paquin has none.

SO this past weekend at Comic-Con there was a new trailer promo’ing the entire rest of Season 2! If you’ve read the books you will immediately recognize some of the newly introduced characters. And I have to say, based on this new Season 2 True Blood Trailer I am more excited than ever!

Jason Stackhouse Finds God?

The sex crazed, often nude and humping, blonde hunk Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) appears to have found God in the early stages of True Blood Season 2. Does this mean his serial sexing days are over? I, for one, sure as hell hope not! I need to see more naked Jason butt. And shirtless Jason. And hot, sweaty Jason!

In a recent interview, Kwanten reveals that the death of a ‘major character’ is imminent this season- and of course that makes me wonder who! If I go by the books, the answer is obvious. But nothing in this series has been what it seems, so far.To further confirm my theory, Kwanten confirms that Maryanne is not at all what she seems to be, and somehow manages to turn the whole town a bit….crazy…

True Blood Viral Campaign

I have to give it to Digital Kitchen: they did a hell of a job creating a phenomenal viral campaign that brings together True Blood and many well-known name brands. The concept is simple. What if vampires are really amongst us? Shouldn’t we tap into this market and focus ad campaigns directly at the undead living here? The answer is simple: YES!

The newest viral campaign has really gone all out. They’ve teamed with big brands such as Gillette:

Not to mention this collage of videos created in the viral campaign- really it’s very creative. The 911 call actually gave me the creeps! I’m pretty sure that was the intended goal. I mean, they are basing this on the premise What If Vampires Were Real?

True Blood To Win An Emmy?

Can it be true? True Blood, that is, might be next in the line of shows from HBO to garner itself an Emmy win- or at least a nomination if the grapevine has it right. The acclaimed show received a much sought after nod from the tv critics association for best new show, and that bodes well for the future of True Blood.

Given that HBO has already purchased True Blood Season 3 (scheduled to begin shooting in December 2009) I think it’s safe to say that True Blood may be the show to break the so-call vampire curse. Never heard of that? How did a long running show like Buffy the Vampire Slayer manage to NEVER win? Its the vampire curse! Think about it. But True Blood is under the wise hand of Allan Ball and that is a man who knows how to win over critics and public alike.
