Something about Tara

Ok, True Blood Season 2 is almost over- only 3 episodes left! And I just can’t bit emy tongue anymore. Tara needs to die. There, I said it! She is annoying and dumb as a rock. Eggs can die with her- also annoying. I used to hate MaryAnn for what she was doing but in all honesty thats her nature to be an evil immortal goddess. Tara, on the other hand, really needs to come to her senses. Sookie needs to get her butt back in Bon Temps and get a hold of her friend. Based on the previews for Episode 10, Sookie and Jason may be too late to save their town. Looks like Eric might be coming to help save the day- and Jason is going to get his chance to fight a war!
But back to Tara. Not only do the demon-eye contacts make her look psychotic, but her crazy behavior doesnt help either. Even when she isn’t under direct influence from MaryAnn, Tara’s brain just doesn’t work right. They need to kill her off the show. Now please! I liked her so much better in the books and even in the books I didn’t love her!

I agree with you about Tara and Eggs. What I don’t like about the two of them is that Tara and Eggs both act like slaves. You know slaves of Maryann’s? I hate that! I mean…this IS Bon Temps a southern city in a very southern state. There are some overtones of that way of life (I think) with Tara and Eggs’ character. It’s like they have to ask Maryann’s permission to do anything. But why? They are both adults? Remember the episode of the orgy? Well remember when Maryann was going to send Tara into town to get a part for the broken water heater in Sookie’s house…but Tara had to convince Maryann to “let” Eggs go with her? What was that all about? And why was Eggs so passive? He should have been like…”I’m going with Tara…see you later.” But instead he was waiting for Maryann’s “ok”. And why would Tara be attracted to a weak man like that anyway? There I said it. I had been biting my tongue too regarding Tara and EggS!
But this is precisely the reason why I like Lafayette so much. He is such an strong and independent man. Lafayette does not allow anyone to boss him around. He even gave those vamps a hard time when they kidnapped him in an earlier episode. Lafayette sure does have a lot of “balls” to be a drag queen…lol!

Alright this is what I think they should have written in. When Eric & them (Vamps) kidnapped Lafyette then bit him…I really thought LaFyette was gonna be turned. He would be a great vampire…You know he all the time speaking his mind & all but in a seductive way. Vampires got that whole seductive thing going for them. Plus he already gave his word to eric that he would be his “bitch”. But this last episode was killer….really keep me on edge!

I like Tara even though she’s a twitt at times as for asking maryanne what to do the girl is under her spell n so is egg’s maryanne doesn’t want them out her site she needs them for the rights cermony which will be happing soon,can’t wait to see what happens now that sooki isback so lets see what happens next

I agree!!!! Everyone makes fun of me but I swear Tara is not only hugely annoying, but looks like she’d smell like greasy gravy. She just looks skanky and dirty. She’s one character I would love to see go!

I totally agree. I hate her. And I actually don’t know why, she’s just SO irritating.
